Adrien Goulet, Jr.

Bradford - Adrien Goulet, Jr., 74, husband of Mary Ann Goulet, died May 2, 2017 in Bangor. He was born June 18, 1942 in Derby, Connecticut, the son of Adrien Goulet, Sr. and Genevieve (Skiba) Goulet. Adrien attended schools in Connecticut graduating from Notre Dame High School and graduated magna cum laude from Columbus College in Georgia with a bachelor’s degree. He enlisted in the Navy in 1960 and later served with the US Army during Vietnam and served with the Army National Guard retiring as a major in the mid 1980’s Adrien was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and he enjoyed reading. He was a consummate woodworker and “tinkerer” with and extensive tool collection and an ability to fix most anything, a skill much appreciated by his family and friends. Surviving in addition to his wife of Bradford are three children, Annie Hansen and her husband Travis of Bradford, Adrien F. Goulet, III of Bangor and Mary Beeman and her husband, Brady of Elwood, Indiana; five grandchildren, Alan Beatty, Ashton and Jacie Hansen, Paige and Grant Beeman; two brothers, Lance Goulet of Texas and Eric Goulet of Connecticut; nieces and nephews. A graveside service with military honors will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta.
