Obituary of Timothy Roderic Dyer
Milford--Timothy R. Dyer, 52, died Wed., Oct. 4, 2017, after a brief illness. He was born Sept. 27, 1965, the son of Roderic and Judith Dyer of Cape Elizabeth.
He was a graduate of Cape Elizabeth High School and attended the University of Maine Orono where he participated in Track and Field. He was a fan of New England sports fan and loved going to UMaine and Bruins ice hockey games. An avid outdoorsman and Eagle Scout, he enjoyed spending time at the family camp and skiing at Sugarloaf. Tim was a jack of all trades who worked as a mechanic, landscaper and all around handyman.
Tim was predeceased by his parents. He will be missed by sisters Katie Pyne and husband Richard Pyne of Roanoke, VA and Meg Dyer of Center Lovell, ME; niece Meaghan Marsilio of Arlington, VA; close friend Sharon Fiedler of Bangor and family; numerous friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit 5-7 PM, Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. A memorial service will be held at 7 PM, as visitation concludes. A graveside service will take place 11 AM, Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Riverside Cemetery, Spurwink Ave., Cape Elizabeth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army 65 South Park St., Bangor, ME 04401.
