Elizabeth Welch Corinth – Elizabeth Welch, 94, wife of the late Clayton W. Welch, died June 25, 2016 in Brewer. She was born April 12, 1922 in Hartland, the daughter of Clyde A. and Elsie M. (Allen) Trafton. Surviving are three children, Pamela Townsend and her husband, Donald of Corinth, Cynthia Steadman and her husband, Richard of Enfield, CT and Sheila Pignone and her husband, Gary of No. Miami, FL; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; one brother, Richard Trafton of Glenburn; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, by two children, Marjorie Hodges and Clyde Welch; by two sisters, Dorothy Dubay and Barbara Wainwright and by three brothers, Stanley, Edmund and Anthony Trafton. Elizabeth’s family gratefully thanks Eleanor Hackett and the staff of Brewer Center for Health & Rehabilitation for the special care they provided. A private graveside service will be held at the Kenduskeag Village Cemetery, Kenduskeag. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St. Brewer.
