Levant - Carolyn S. Taylor, 86, wife of the late Neal A. Taylor, died Aug. 18, 2016 at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 21, 1929, the daughter of Cecil and Agnes Collier. A lifelong homemaker, Carolyn is survived by eight children and their spouses, Donald and Cindy Taylor of Levant, Lawrence and Patricia Taylor of Levant, Alan and Wanda Taylor of Thomaston, Brian and Delores Taylor of Milford, Eugenia and Leroy Mayhew of Levant, Rose and David Ronco of Dover-Foxcroft, Nancy and Cyrus Corson of Dexter and Linda and Neal Reed of Friendship; a son, Thomas Cecil Taylor; 14 grandchildren, Dennis, Donald and Jessica Taylor, Theresa Mayhew, Autumn, Joseph and Matthew Ronco, Lawrence Taylor, Crystal Anderson, Timothy Taylor, Micah and Steven Corson, Andrew and Megan Reed; eight great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters and by a son, Thomas Neal Taylor. A graveside service to honor Carolyn's life will be held 3 PM Thursday, August 25, 2016 at South Levant Cemetery, Horseback Road, Levant with Pastor Buddy Gough, presiding.
