Frances Turcotte, wife of the late Myron R. Turcotte, died June 3, 2022 in Bangor. She was born January 28, 1937 in Dublin, Ireland, the daughter of Daniel and Jane (Hand) Kavanagh.

Frances was a Sister of the Resurrection and taught kindergarten, first grade and taught special education in Baltimore. Fitness was important to Frances staying active throughout her life and teaching physical fitness.  She was also a communicant of St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Frances is survived by her son, Brendan Turcotte of Bangor; a granddaughter, Rachel Turcotte; two sisters, Betty Buckley and Nancy O’Regan both of Ireland; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband in 2007 and by two sisters, May Kavanagh and Lucy McDonnell.

A private burial will take place at a later date at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta. Arrangements trusted to Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, Bangor and Brewer. Messages and memories of Frances may be shared with her family on the tribute wall of kileyandfoley.com.
