Edward J. “Ed” Barrood, passed away peacefully at his home on January 27, 2024 at the age of 70. Ed was a graduate of Middlesex County College in Edison, N.J. and he furthered his education attending Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ pursuing his education in food science and graduated from Johnson & Wales in Rhode Island. He is predeceased by his parents Mary & Edward Barrood; his brothers, William and John. He is survived by his sisters, Marie-Wedad Bowler of California and Jeanne-Marie Barrood of New Jersey along with aunts, Jennie Meseroll, Lulu Thompson and Marie Barrood; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
