Obituary of Rocco J. Santa Fe

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Rocco J. Santa Fe, beloved son, brother and friend. Rocco was born to Joseph and Dorothy Santa Fe on June 7, 1961, and passed away at home on January 29, 2025.

Rocco came to live with our family as a young child and quickly fit in. Those who knew Rocco, knew he had a passion/love for planes, airports and was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins. One of his first jobs was working for Delta Airlines, which took him to places such as California and Florida. While working for Delta, it was not unusual for him to sporadically call the family and say, "Can someone pick me up from the airport, I am coming home for the weekend!" Rocco had a funny sense of humor and always loved to be in on a joke. Throughout his years in Bangor, he worked for Penobscot Sheriff's Department, Husson College, University of Maine and Veazie Police Department and Hertz Rental Car. Rocco was the type of person to give the shirt off his back to anyone. Our family will miss him greatly and know we will see him again in Heaven.

Rocco is survived by his father, Glenn Wilson; siblings, Ronald Patoka (Kimberly), Brenda Wilson-Denning (Michael), Tiffany Lothian (Mark) and Stacey Hobert (Jason) as well as many nieces and nephews. Also, his very special stepdaughter, Kylie Graves. Rocco was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Dorothy Santa Fe and his second mother, Trudy Wilson.

A private graveside memorial will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery where he will be laid to rest alongside his mother Trudy Wilson.
