

Obituary of Leland G. Quinn
Leland "Lee" George Quinn, 77, went home to heaven on April 4, 2025. He was born June 11, 1947 to Fred and Margaret (Waugh) Quinn.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy, his son, David and wife Susanna Quinn and daughter, Janet and husband Phillip Moody. He was the proud Grampa of Kristopher and wife Karie, Annabeth, and Hollee Moody. He also leaves a brother, Joseph Quinn, wife Cheryl and nephews, Shaun and Jason.
Lee was a founding member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church of Exeter, where he served as a trustee. He also enjoyed being the sound man for many years, making CDs and DVDs of all the services. Lee was a well known mechanic, specializing in transmissions and owning Quinn's Auto in Hermon until his retirement. In his retirement, he enjoyed woodworking in his shop and making furniture, clocks, and gifts for family and friends.
A funeral service will be held April 27, 2025 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1195 Stetson Road in Exeter at 4:00. Visitation will be at 3:00 until the time of the service. A reception will be immediately following the service. Lee's good friend, Pastor Stan Griffin will be officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Cornerstone Baptist Church, PO Box 131, Levant, Maine 04456.
