Obituary of Lynette M. O'Donnell
Lynette M. O'Donnell, age 56, of Bangor, Maine, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on April 10, 2025, after an unexpected and sudden illness. She was born December 11, 1968, in Tacoma, Washington, the daughter of Bruce and Linda Cipriano.
Lynette moved to Maine in the late-1980s to be closer to extended family. She grew roots in Bangor, Maine, where she raised all four of her children, and built lifelong friendships. Lynette was a selfless and compassionate person. Always putting others' needs above her own, especially her children. She was profoundly proud of all their accomplishments and was always their biggest cheerleader. She was most happy when all her children were together under one roof and had a house full of friends, and friends who became family. Her favorite time of year was the holiday season, where she cooked full course meals, and had a house bursting at the seams with laughter and love. She took joy in the simple pleasures of life such as; time with friends and family, petting her dogs and enjoying an ice cold beer with some olives. She spent a lot of her free weekends at the Eastern Maine Snowmobile Club with her husband, Aaron, where they made lifelong memories with friends. She had a passion for making everyone feel their best and let this shine in her work as a bridal consultant at a local Bridal Shop. She had a contagious smile and was always the life of the party. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Aaron; daughter, Brittney Brunick and her husband, Christopher; son, Cody Chapman and his wife, Melanie; daughters, Brooke and Emily O'Donnell; her loving dogs, Dude and Grizzly; and her granddogs, Olive and Benjen. She also leaves behind her brother, Daniel Cipriano and his family of Addis, Louisiana. She will be greatly missed by many good friends, and a special thanks to her closest friends for being there to support her and her family during her final days.
A celebration of life will be held 1 - 5 p.m Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Elks Club, 108 Odlin Rd., Bangor. If you wish to donate to a charity in her memory, please donate to wishuponawedding.org.
