To dearest Linda and family,
I worked with Paul at Brewer High School for many years. We shared some laughter, some dilemmas and some challenging days in education. Through it all, Paul believed in the power of sports to teach life lessons and he treated every student as someone full of potential. As a colleague, it was enlightening that he was always interested in the whole student and their growth. I hope you feel surrounded by the same care he offered to his students and his colleagues. My condolences, Ronnie Delano-Ellis

Coach Soucy was one my favorites of all time at Brewer HS. Souce was a great person, and he left an indelible mark on my life as a young athlete, and later as an adult. I had the privilege of working both football and softball games with Souce as a game official. I was also lucky enough to also work HS basketball games with son Ryan. Coach Soucy also offered some support to my sister Laurie when her husband Von was suffering from Parkinson’s. I will never forget you Couch Souce, RIP.
Linda, Ryan, and family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to all of Pauls family, and have been thinking of all of you in these hard times.
I was lucky enough to work with Paul for four years. I saw his dedication every day, he had great work ethic that I have tried to uphold. I wouldn't be in the job I'm in without Paul advocating for me when he retired. We had many similar hobbies including hunting and fishing. Spent long hours working together while discussing sports, hunting, fishing and sometimes just discussing our families and what they were up to. I'll always remember him as kind, humble, and a good friend if I needed him for anything. After his retirement I always looked forward to his phone calls, or seeing him at a Hermon sporting events. Even while battling Parkinsons, he still showed up for many years to help keep clock at games, including field hockey, and basketball. I still miss the long hours working on the ball fields together, learning different tricks and tips from him on how to make a field look good. I just wanted to say thank you for everything, especially the memories. He will remain as a special figure in my life, and I hope he understood the difference he made in me by just being a good friend.
Thinking of you all in these times! He was a great man.

Linda and family, I had Mr. Soucy as a gym teacher at Brewer High in the mid seventies. Such a great guy. And then I’d see you two out and about later and of course when I’d deliver your mail. Always had a smile on his face. Such a kind man.
Linda, you are in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Mr Soucy was my vice principal at Bangor High. I was no athlete and being honest not a very reputable kid. Mr Soucy looked past that always treating me like a kid with potential to do better. He was kind and thoughtful with my mother who was as frustrated as a mother could be when she received his calls. Mr Soucy truly impacted me in ways I could never have anticipated and I’ll always be truly grateful for his influence and willingness to give me a chance. I work in schools today supporting kids in some adverse life situations and Mr Soucy is one of a handful of adults who helped me along the way that I’ll always be grateful to. My sincere condolences to his family. May the road rise to meet you sir!

We’re so sorry to hear about Coach Soucy. Though I played across the river in Bangor we always loved playing his Brewer teams. Such a great rivalry and wonderful friendships were made over the years. Nothing beat running out of the locker room at Brewer High School with the band playing and seeing Coach Soucy and Coach Tennett talking before the game. Such a great man and I was always so happy to run into him and Linda over the years. Thinking of you all and sending strength. Coach Soucy will be fondly remembered by so many.
