Nancy E. (Davis) Robertson, 74, wife of David D. Robertson, passed peacefully on June 23, 2025 at her home in Bangor surrounded by her family. She was born Jan. 23, 1951 in Portland, the daughter of Robert A. and Ethelyn (Hooper) Davis.

After the passing of her father, Nancy’s family moved to Machias and then on to Brewer where she attended and graduated from Brewer High School, Class of 1969. Nancy was involved in gymnastics, track & field and cheerleading along with many close friends. After high School, Nancy and David were married and moved to Holden building a new home and raising three children, Doug, Nick and Todd. The years spent in Holden were very special to them making lifelong friends and enjoying activities at Holden and Holbrook Schools. Nancy’s working years were spent in the banking business beginning with the Bangor Federal Credit Union and moving later to Key Bank in Brewer. She enjoyed serving the local customers and made many friends during those years. After retirement, David and Nancy spent winters in sunny Venice, Florida and the pleasant months of summer in the Bangor-Brewer area. We called it “the best of both worlds” and it truly was.

There is now a new angel in heaven and we thank the Lord for the 54 wonderful years we shared together. Nancy is no longer in our arms but will be forever in our hearts.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two children, Douglas Robertson and his wife, Rita of Port St. Lucie, FL and Todd Robertson of Eddington; her only grandchild, Keira Robertson; two siblings, Debra Curtis and her husband, Tom of South Bristol, ME and Robert Davis of Phoenix, AZ; a brother-in-law, Gary Wheeling of Litchfield; in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her son, Nicholas Robertson in 2008 and by a sister, Donna Wheeling in 2025.

A graveside service for family and close friends will be held later in the summer at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer. Messages and memories of Nancy may be shared with her family on the tribute wall of kileyandfoley.com.
