Bangor – Patricia Muriel (Cameron) Tracy Fox, 86, died comfortably in her sleep May 26, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born Aug. 8, 1929 in Brewer, the daughter of George E. and Mary C. (Ardine) Cameron.
Pat was a devoted mother who loved her family very much. She managed the front desk at the Phoenix Inn in Downtown Bangor for many years until her retirement. She loved reading, crossword puzzles and most of all loved to shop.
Surviving are five children, Robert Tracy and wife Libby (Weber) of Rosenhayn, NJ, Timothy Tracy and wife Lisa (Strayer) of Bangor, John Tracy and wife Traci (Whittington) of Orrington, Deborah (Fox) Egers and husband, Scott of Kittery, and Donald Fox of Bangor; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brother George Cameron Jr. and wife Elizabeth of California; three sisters: Helene Rogan and husband Jack of Dedham, Barbara (Cameron) Kelly of California, and Linda (Cameron) Davis and husband John of Newburgh; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Jack Tracy; her second husband, John Fox; son, James Tracy; and grandson, Nicholas Tracy.
Patricia requested that services be held privately. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Bangor Humane Society, 693B Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401. Messages and memories may be shared with Patricia's family at kileyandfoley.com.
