Obituary of Evelyn M. Crockett

Evelyn Crockett, 94, passed away peacefully at home with her daughter Sylvia Howes Parsons by her side on October 13, 2023. She was born November 30, 1928 in Hermon, the daughter of Alton and Madeline (Pomeroy) Snow.

 

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter of Hermon; two great granddaughters Cassie Trudel of Hermon and Caitlyn Howes of Newport; three sisters, Pauline Drazkowski of Hermon, Angie (John) Moore of Brewer, Mildred Hanson of Hermon; good friend Mike Parsons of Etna and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Dana Crockett, her only grandson Scott Howes, son in-law Roger Howes, three brothers Lewis, Melvin, and James, as well as her sisters Helen Hasey and Frances Green. Evelyn always enjoyed time with her sisters.

 

She kept a beautiful home and tended to a garden every year for many years. Many thanks to all the family and friends that have offered help and support through this hard time. Thank you to Hospice for the help provided by the nurses and by a really wonderful CNA Lesa B.

Family and friends may visit 4 – 6 PM Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. Her daughter, Sylvia, will be keeping her mother's ashes at her home until spring. Cards of condolences may be sent to Sylvia Parsons at 613 Pine Tree Road, Hermon, Maine.
