Dorothy L. Davis
Clifton – Dorothy L. Davis, 89, wife of the late Ervin M. Davis, died Oct. 7, 2016 in Bangor. She was born Jan. 27, 1927, the daughter of Joseph C. and Helen L. (Gregory) Siegel.
Dorothy was a dedicated mother and homemaker and she was a member of the Clifton Baptist Church. Surviving are three children, Jeannette Sweet of Florida, Barbara Farley, Washington State and Ervin Davis, II of Clifton; seven grandchildren, Robert Smith, Carol Smith, Timothy Smith, Jane Smith, Christopher Hilton, Tina Wiley, and Heather Farley; several great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Clifton Baptist Church, Main Road, Clifton at a later date and burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Rebel Hill Road, Clifton.
