Mary Louise Hall

Bangor, ME & Cape Canaveral, FL - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary L. Hall 75 on Nov 10, 2016 at her Bangor home surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer.

Mary, AKA “Nanzy”, as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren who loved her so much, was born in Bangor on Oct 15, 1941. She attended Bangor schools and graduated from Bangor High School in 1959. Mary met Warren and they were married in Fort Lauderdale in 1961 and spent the next 55 years together. Travels took them around the world from Puerto Plata to Switzerland. They also enjoyed many cruises out of Port Canaveral with family and friends. Mary worked hard raising the twins and “Brother”. She also worked at Pilots Grill and Card-o-Rama. Mary and Warren owned and operated the Italian Village Restaurant and ABC Storage Co. Warren retired from US Customs in 1994 and they started spending their winters at their condo in Cape Canaveral and summers at their cottage on Green Lake.

She is survived by her husband Warren of Cape Canaveral and Bangor, her daughters Sharon and John of Hermon, Karen and James of Bangor and son Warren Jr. and Lori and her two daughters Amber and Anmarie of Brewer. She will be missed greatly by her three grandchildren, Jimmy Jr., Brian and Emily who loved their “Nanzy”. Brothers Bentley Herbert of Lowell Ma., Mike Herbert of Dedham and Sister Mona Trafton of Las Vegas and Levant Me. She was predeceased by her parents, Brothers Thomas Herbert, Francis Herbert and Joseph Herbert.

Friends may visit from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday Nov 15, 2016 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor where a service will follow at 1 PM as the visitation concludes with Pastor Carl Schreiber officiating. Mary will be interred at the columbarium at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Ohio St., Bangor. Memories and messages may be shared with Mary’s family at kileyandfoley.com.
