Holden - Ralph A. Holyoke, 57, died unexpectedly Dec. 25, 2016 in his sleep at his home in Holden. He was born Oct. 19. 1959 in Bangor, the son of Ralph and Margaret “Peggy” (Arnold) Holyoke.

Ralph was a 1978 graduate of Brewer High School and was a carpenter by trade. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying his time hunting and fishing. Ralph loved his animals especially his best friend and companion, his sweet dog, Alphie, who was always by his side.

Surviving in addition to his mother and father of Clifton are his sister, Rae Anne Smith and her husband, Greg Smith; one niece, Annie Shaler and her husband, Ross and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including his very special uncle, Edson “Eddie” Arnold and cousin and friend, Logan Wade.

Burial will be held in the spring at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 B Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401 or at bangorhumane.org. Arrangements are trusted to Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer.
