Obituary of Leah R. Cameron

OAKFIELD - Leah Rae Cameron, 31, born Dec. 23, 1984, in Bangor, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 19, 2016, resulting from a brief illness. Lea was a beautiful daughter, a devoted young mother and a dear friend to so many. She had an outgoing personality and a giving heart. Her smile could light up a room and her witty sense of humor would leave you in stitches. Leah loved to sketch and create whimsical art. She also loved music and four-wheeling, but her greatest passion was being the best mother to her son, Tanner. Leah is survived by her parents, Darlene (Veillette) Theriault and Tim Theriault of Orrington; her fiance, Troy McClure; son, Tanner; and siblings, Travis and Tabitha of Corinth, whom she loved dearly; grandparents, Wayne and Muriel Ouellette, and Susan Veillette; uncle, Jeff Veillette; aunt, Renee Salyer and husband, Robert Salyer; her childhood dad, Randall Parent; and siblings, Randy Jr., Shanna and Niki. She is also survived by father, Michael Cameron; siblings, Melissa and Michael Jr., and Michele Jarvis Gray; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends from Brewer, Norridgewock and Corinth area. Leah was predeceased by her grandfather, George Veillette; and uncle, Jay Ouellette. Although her time here on earth was short, her family and friends find peace know that Leah is in heaven with her Saviour, Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Jan. 21, at Calvary Chapel, 154 River Road, Orrington.
