Obituary of Marie A. Burpee

Marie A. Burpee Eddington - Marie Anna Burpee, 66, went to be with the Lord on February 5, 2017. Born January 10, 1951 she was the daughter of Orman and Clarine Jackson of Cardville where she grew up most of her young life and she attended Old Town High School graduating in 1969. She moved to Bangor in 1981 where she worked at WLBZ as a secretary and later at Olamon Industries. Marie was the kind of person that would help anyone with anything, especially family. She would always give you her time, energy and a sympathetic ear if needed. Her joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren and close relatives. Family was everything to her. As an avid reader she loved books and in her downtime she enjoyed getting lost in a good book. She is survived by her husband, Russell Burpee of Eddington; a son, Cori Burpee of Brewer, a daughter, Traci Adams of Orrington, son-in-law, Wayne Adams; grandchildren, Miles and Delaney Adams; brother, Gary Jackson of Milford; niece, Melissa Vandez of Orono and nephew, Chad Jackson of Bangor. A graveside service and burial will be held 11 AM Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Jonathon Eddy Cemetery. Messages and memories may be shared with her family at kileyandfoley.com.
