Travis L. Tara
Brewer - Travis Lance Tara, 44, passed away after a brief Illness on July 12, 2017, with his parents by his side. He was born on January 27, 1973, in Bangor, ME. He was the beloved son of Lance Tara and Debbie (Furrow) Tara.
Travis attended schools in Veazie and Orono, ME. Until most recently, he was a long-time employee of JC Autobody in Veazie. Travis was a kind and loyal person to his family and many friends--he loved them all.
He is survived by his parents, daughter, Lauren Tara; sister, Courtney Tara; niece, Audrey Tara Spears; grandmother, Elizabeth Furrow, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Jozef and Geraldine Tara; uncle, Alexander Tara; and grandfather, Howard Furrow.
Family and friends may visit 5 – 7 PM Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. A service honoring Travis’ life will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, July 19, 2017. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow immediately afterward and burial will be at a later date.
