Obituary of Elaine Carol Curtis

Hermon – Elaine C. Curtis , 67, wife of the late Clifford Curtis, died July 14, 2017 at her home in Hermon after a lengthly illness with her family by her side. She was born Sept 12, 1949 in Lincoln, the daughter of Jack and Louise (Sibley) Worster.

Elaine was a graduate of Bangor High School and the Univ. of Maine, Orono with a degree in substance abuse services and was the first in her family to graduate from college. Elaine worked for many years for Day One until her retirement. She enjoyed many activities including reading, flower gardening, shopping, using her I-pad but most of all spending time with her family, friends and her faithful companion, Gabby.

Surviving are one daughter, Christina Albert and her husband, Kevin of Hermon; four grandchildren, Alexa Salley of Bangor Johnathan Albert of Hermon Jonathan Seymour of Bradley and Michael O'Roak of Hermon; one great grandchild, Ally Caldwell of Bangor; her sister, Sharon Millett of Brewer; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and one brother, Lee Worster. She will be remembered by her best friend, Marcia Sibley of Lincoln and her canine companion, Gabby.

Family and friends my visit 10 to 11 AM Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor where a service honoring Elaine's life will be held at 11 AM as the visitation concludes. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
