Obituary of Steven A. Vdoviak
Steven A. Vdoviak, 43, passed away at his apartment in Brewer on Oct. 11, 2017, after a long illness. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Aug. 15, 1974, the son of Steve and Jane Vdoviak.
Steven attended Sumner High School in Sullivan, where he participated in cross country and baseball. He was a member of the Navy League of the United States and a keen follower of current events. Despite his illnesses, Steve’s demeanor was always warm and courteous.
Steven was predeceased by mother Jane. He is survived by father Steve Vdoviak of Gouldsboro; siblings Scott Vdoviak of Austin, TX, and Diana Knowles of Sullivan; nieces Jordyn and Tori; nephew Jacob and wife Ashley; numerous aunts and uncles; special friend Polly Young of Ellsworth. He will be sadly missed, especially at family gatherings which he cherished attending.The family would like to extend special thanks to the folks at CRS Bangor and to the first responders from Brewer.
