Dear Kathy,
I feel sorry for you but surely not for Al. We all know where he is now and for eternity. Al was the most giving person I have ever met. Always looking to be helpful whether he knew you or not. One could not have a better friend. I will always cherish the memories of Al and the rest of the St. Mary's Choir.
God bless you, Kathy. I wish you well.

My condolences to Mr. Jellison's family. I was struck by how brave he was in the face of very difficult challenges. How he cared for his family and the pride he took in serving his community to the end. It was an honor to know and care for him.

I was shocked to read about Al's passing today. I played softball with him for a number of years for the world famous St . Mary's team. He was friendly to me, was a good player, and would see him from time to time at St. Mary's. I hope that other members of the softball team will go to the service on Saturday. I didn't get to know him as well as other members of the team, but he was well liked and respected by all. The last time I saw him was at the lobby of the Cancer Care of Me. I was dealing with a medical issue and was reporting in, when I saw him arrive with another person. I wasn't able to get his attention, so I hoped I would see him another day.
My deepest sympathies to the family, he was a good man.
