Obituary of Ronald Carl Ronco

Orrington—Ronald Carl Ronco, 56, died unexpectedly April 9, 2018. He was born October 24, 1961.

Ron graduated from Bangor Christian School, where he participated in basketball, baseball, and soccer.  He was proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps.  Ron was an entrepreneur with a strong business acumen and work ethic.  He managed successful businesses in Maine, North Carolina, Nebraska, and Alaska.  He enjoyed basketball with his buddies but was most proud of being a father and grandfather.  Ron had a huge heart and strived to show everyone the immense love he had for them.

He is survived by fiancé Annette Lugar; sons Matthew Ronco and wife Aleisa and Eric Ronco and significant other Kaila Doll; grandson Abel Ronco; Annette's children Nicole Dunton, Kristen Dunton, Brittany Seamans and husband Jared; best friend Randy Dunton and wife Nadine; many other friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit 1-2 PM, Monday, April 16, 2018, at Messiah Baptist Church, 985 Union St., Bangor. A memorial service will follow at 2 PM. Burial with military honors will be held 9 AM, Tuesday, April 17, at Maine Veterans Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta. Messages and memories may be shared with the family at kileyandfoley.com
