BREWER - Ellery W. "Junior" Adams, Jr., 79 of Brewer, Maine and Largo, Florida passed away Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018. Ellery was born in Brewer, Maine on April 20, 1938 to Ellery W. Adams, Sr. and Mae (Hartt) Adams.

Ellery grew up in Brewer, Maine and graduated from Brewer High School. He worked for Eastern Fine Paper before starting his 41 year career with the Maine Air National Guard 101st Air Refueling Wing. He was an airplane mechanic and worked on many types of planes, including the KC135. Ellery retired in 1999 as a Master Sergeant Crew Chief. He loved to travel and his career took him all over the world and the US. After retirement, he especially enjoyed spending the winter months in the Largo area of Florida and summers at his home in Maine with his beloved wife, Pat.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia "Pat" (Sirois) Adams, who he loved and adored beyond words during their 58 years of marriage; two sons, Scott Adams and wife, Melissa and Jeffrey Adams and wife, Heather; four grandchildren, Bryan, Amy, Ashleigh and Kevin; three great-grandchildren Edison, Emma, and Evan. He is also survived by his sister, Beverly Hollis. Ellery and Pat have had a very special friendship with Dennis and Sue McCurdy that spreads over many years of being there for each other in times of need and all the special moments of enjoying life.

Visitation at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service in Brewer and a graveside service with military honors provided by the US Air Force and the honors team of the Maine Air National Guard will be held at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mt.
