Obituary of Angela M. Hart

Brewer - Angela entered earthly life on September 6, 1945 and entered eternal life on June 27, 2018.  Angela was the daughter of the late Leonard J. and Nancy (Mutty) Dandaneau and was a lifelong resident of Brewer.  She was a 1963 graduate of John Bapst High School and attended Husson College. Angela was a member of the Brewer Garden and Bird Club and past member of the Brewer Historical Society. Angela was talented gardener who enjoyed spending hours on end caring for her perennials, usually with the family dogs by her side.  Angela’s  Catholic faith was a central aspect of her life.  She was a past chairperson of the St. Joseph Parish Peace and Social Justice Commission and volunteered at the Brewer Food Cupboard for several years. She worked for many years as a voter registration clerk for the city of Brewer. Angela was an executive secretary at Merchants National Bank of Bangor until the birth of her first child retiring from the bank and taking on the job of homemaker and mother for the next 45 years.

Angela leaves behind her husband of 46 years David J. Hart of Brewer and her three children, David “DJ” Hart and his wife, Angela of Hermon, Anne-Marie Hart of Northeast Harbor and her partner, Thomas Marinke and Matthew Hart of Seal Harbor; her sister, Alyce Martin and her husband James of Holliston, MA; her brother, George Dandaneau and his wife, Jody of Bangor; grandson, Andrew Hart of Hermon and brother-in-law, Charles Hart and his wife,  Donna of Dedham and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, No. Main St., Brewer followed by interment at Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Angela’s life will follow at St. Joseph Parish hall. Donations in Angela’s memory may be made to the Brewer Area Food Pantry, 25 Freedom Parkway, Hermon, ME 04401.
