Obituary of Marion T. Andrews
Marion Thomas Andrews, wife of the late Robert S. Andrews, passed away Aug. 13, 2018 at a Bangor hospital. She was born Dec. 16, 1926 in Caribou, the daughter of Frederick and Alice (Driscoll) Thomas. Marion attended schools in Presque Isle and graduated from Brewer High School. She continued her education study and taking classes in art. She thoroughly enjoyed painting her winter scenes in oils and acrylics.
Surviving are one daughter, Kathleen Andrews Hamel and her husband, Brian of Dedham; two granddaughters, Kimberly Andrews Lucy and her husband, James of Greenland, NH, Heather Hamel Russell and her husband, Kevin of Brewer; great grandchildren, Hunter and Hannah Russell, Grace, Jenna and Benjamin Lucy; daughter-in-law, Nancy Price Andrews; a sister-in-law, Lillian Thomas; very special nieces and nephews whom she all loved dearly. She had wonderful friends and neighbors. She was predeceased by her husband in 2007, by her son, Steven T. Andrews in 2013 and by siblings, Frederick Thomas, Freida LaFata and Natalie Parlee.
