Obituary of Marlene Frances McPherson

Please share a memory of Marlene to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bangor—After beating cancer twice, the good Lord has decided to let our beloved mother rest. She was born August 31, 1931, to Felix and Anna (Potus) Kuchinski. Marlene was a wonderful person who cared so deeply for her family. She worked as a secretary for the Bangor Police Department until her retirement in 1989. She sometimes still enjoyed meeting "the boys" for breakfast every now and then. To see her eyes light up when her great-grandchildren came to the house was priceless. Everything about Marlene revolved around family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; husband Lawrence A. McPherson; sister Dorothy Barns; brothers Clifton Kuchinksi and Chester Kuchinski. Surviving and deeply saddened are sons Neil C. and wife Sheila, Lonny and wife Mary Ellen; daughter Terry and husband Danny; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special friend and sister-in-law Sheila Kuchinski. A special thank you to our sister Terry and her daughter Samantha for the special care they gave our Mother. Rest in peace Mom, you already know how much we love you! A graveside service will be held 10 AM, Friday, August 24, 2018, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Hammond St. Ext., Bangor.
