Obituary of Lannie G. Holt

Lannie G. Holt Bangor - Lannie G. Holt, 78, husband of Julia (O’Loughlin) Holt, passed on Feb. 6, 2016 at his home in Bangor after a long illness. He was born Nov. 23, 1937 in Aledo, Illinois, the son of Raymond and Mary (King) Holt. Lannie served 20 years in the US Navy retiring as a Yeoman, Chief Petty Officer. He earned his associate degree in business management from Eastern Maine Community College. Survivors include his wife whom Lannie married in 1962 Julia O’Loughlin; two daughters, Victoria Holt and Leigh Clement both of Maine; four granddaughters, Cherie, Jocelyn, Heather and Jessi and two great grandsons, Maximilian and Winn. Lannie was the 11th of 12 children. He is survived by two brothers, Gerald and Jack and was predeceased by six brothers, Paul, Raymond, Ernest, Charles, James and his twin, Lonnie and three sisters, Barbara, Darlene and Mary Jane. Lannie requested no formal services. Private burial will be at a later date.
