Using the GI Bill he obtained his Masters of Education from Bridgewater State University. Jack was a lifetime educator and was very proud of his accomplishments during his career. Jack was the Director of Guidance for many years at the Swampscott High School in MA. He enjoyed the camaraderie of his colleagues throughout his career and retirement.
Jack was fortunate enough to have been retired for almost 25 years. He spent every summer at "camp" in Millinocket. He loved his camp, sitting on his deck, listening to loons and going up the river in his boat fishing. He enjoyed watching the sunsets with family and friends. He will be forever missed by all who knew him. Our beloved Jack was one of a kind and a true character. He lived life to the fullest. We will miss his humor, his edge and of course his opinions.
The family will hold a private service.
A celebration of his life will be in the summer of 2019 in Millinocket. Notice will go out for the date and location closer to the event.
