Obituary of Linda A. Forgue

Winterport - Linda Forgue, 60, passed away after a recent illness, in her home, on December 5, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. Linda was born in Lewiston, Maine on February 22, 1958, the daughter of Arthur and Claire Forgue. Linda was the eldest of six children. She is survived by her sisters, Donna, Debbie and Kim; and brother, Arthur. Linda left her home at the age of three and moved to a Lewiston home for children before residing at Pineland Center for twenty-one years. In 1985, Linda moved from Pineland Center to a home in Orrington, operated by OHI. Linda has been supported by OHI for the past thirty-three years and touched many lives throughout that time. Over the past several years, Linda's mobility and independence has been affected by many medical challenges. Linda has adapted to each of these challenges with courage and determination. Linda will be remembered for her love of swimming, attending camp in the summer, and being on the go! She enjoyed going for rides, shopping and especially watching Leroy Jethro Gibbs on NCIS. Her favorite foods included cheese and ice cream. Linda had a great sense of humor and always loved it when others got themselves into a bit of trouble! Linda attended the Edward J. Bouchea Center for many years and developed many friendships. Linda will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her, especially the friends she lived with, those who have supported her and her long-time friends, Sue Dority and Roberta and John Gossner.
