Obituary of Lee B. Bond

Lee B. (Meucci) Bond, 95, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 2, 2019. She was born Sept. 16, 1923 in Bristol, CT to the late Dominic and Marjorie (Dyer) Meucci.

Lee graduated from Bangor High School in 1943. She met and married Russell Bond of Bangor and eventually they moved to California where they made their life together. They enjoyed traveling, at one point living on a cabin cruiser with their son, “Rusty”.  She and Rusty enjoyed a very close relationship, lasting until his passing in 2001. During her working years Lee was employed by Kaiser Permanente as an EKG/EEG tech, becoming an important part of the department. It was a job she loved and found very fulfilling. She had a passion for reading, especially the Bible, loved flowers, being outdoors, travel and good movies (she could retell them better than most young folk). Lee will be fondly remembered for her desire to encourage and care for those the Lord brought her way.

Lee was predeceased by her husband Russell H. Bond, son Russell H Bond Jr, brothers William and Anthony Meucci and  a sister, Mary (Meucci) MacDonald.  She is survived by stepdaughter Brenda (Bond) and husband Kirby Astbury, brother Loui Meucci, nieces and nephews.

She will be missed by many friends, especially Cheryl and Laurie (& Mark).
