Obituary of Harriet E. Page
Corinth - Harriet E. “Midge” Page, 79, died July 12, 2019 at her home in Corinth. She was born May 12, 1940 in Hartland, the daughter of Herbert P. and Eva M. (Kimball) Simonds. Midge, as she was known, was a longtime resident of Corinth and was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Exeter. She and her husband enjoyed many things including traveling in their retirement years especially to Alaska and spending winters in Florida. Midge liked to quilt and will be remembered by her special friends in her quilting group. Her family was important to her and she loved the time she was able to spend with them.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Donald W. Page, Sr. are her four daughters, Holly Drew and her husband, Clarence of Hermon, Karen Porter of Winterport, Dawn Nickerson and her husband, Rich of Bangor and Lori Webber and her husband, Scott of Glenburn; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; one sister, Gladys Bragg of Corinna; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a large extended family including a special niece, Cathy Chick of Bradenton, FL. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Wayne Page, two great grandchildren, two brothers and by her son-in-law, Kenny Porter.
A service honoring Midge’s life will he held 10 AM Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1195 Stetson Road, Exeter with Pastor Stan Griffin, presiding. Burial will be afterward at Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Lafayette Cancer Center and CancerCare of Maine to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness, c/o Northern Light Health Foundation, PO Box 931, Bangor, ME 04402-0931.
