Obituary of Richard Hobbs
Mariaville & Dover-Foxcroft—Richard “Lefty” Hobbs, 81, passed away September 27, 2019, at Maine Medical Center after a long illness. He was born November 21, 1937, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Archie and Thelma (Greene) Hobbs.
Richard worked for many years as a truck driver. He loved to be outdoors and was most at home in his favorite place: the woods of Maine.
Richard was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by son Doug Hobbs of Dover-Foxcroft; granddaughter Madison Hobbs of Bangor; many nieces and nephews.
A private burial will take place at a later date at Rural Grove Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft. Messages and memories may be shared with the family at kileyandfoley.com
