Obituary of Aubrey Preston Bryant

Bangor and Bradley--Aubrey Preston Bryant, 60, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. He was born in Bangor, the son of the late Aubrey and Marion (Morash) Bryant. Aubrey always put others needs before his own and preferred to go without so others could keep going. Aubrey enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and making people smile with his compliments and witty comments. Aubrey spent his life as a father and friend to many, he showed others that family runs deeper than blood and kindness doesn’t cost a thing. Aubrey was an advocate for getting youth involved in activities, especially hunting and hockey. Aubrey would drive to Connecticut, Nova Scotia and any place in between just so a kid could get a chance to step into the woods or onto the ice. Aubrey was honored to be the President of the Orono High School Hockey Boosters for several years and help keep the Riot’s hockey program thriving. Most of all, Aubrey was proud of his “Boys” and was quick to tell anyone who asked. He was predeceased by brothers, Robert Pelletier (Frenchie), Richard and Loyd; sisters, Pamela and Brigitte Charmaine. Aubrey is survived by sons and their spouses Shawn and Sara, Travis and Meredith; brother, Clarence and wife Linda; sisters, Rowena and husband Camille, and Patricia; grandchildren, Devinn, Silas, Keegan, Allie, Maddie, Annabelle, Tommy, and David; many nieces and nephews who he held close to his heart. Aubrey was deeply loved by his family and will be sorely missed. Those who wish may contribute in his memory to Brewer Youth Hockey, P.O. Box 594 Brewer, Maine 04412.
