James W. Morse


Levant – James W. Morse, 66, died Apr. 4, 2016 at a Bangor health center after a period of declining health. He was born Feb. 6, 1950 in Bangor, the son of Oral D. and Helen E. (Curtis) Morse.


James worked with is brother and parents on the family farm in Levant for most of his life. He is survived by his three brothers, George Morse and his wife, Margie of Winterport, Robert Morse of Stetson and Roger Morse of Levant; one sister, Doris Ann Morse of Dover-Foxcroft; nieces and nephews, George Morse, Jr. and his wife, Gloria of No. Ridgeville, OH, Mindy Morse-Foss and her husband, Steven Foss of Winterport, Joshua Morse of Stetson; great nephews, Willie Jonathan Patterson and Jordan Patterson both of Winterport. He was predeceased by one sister, Vivian Gladys Morse and by his parents.


Family and friends may visit 11 AM to 1 PM Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor where a service honoring his life will be held at 1 PM as the visitation concludes with the Rev. Linda Campbell-Marshall, James’ cousin, presiding. Burial will be at South Levant Cemetery, Levant. Memories and messages may be shared with his family at kileyandfoley.com.
