Lenore Griffin

Obituary of Lenore P. Griffin

Lenore P. (Taylor) Griffin, 75, died unexpectedly November 16, 2020 at her daughter’s home after a brief illness. She was born June 4, 1945 in Woodstock, NB, Canada the daughter of Sidney and Phyllis J. (Guy) Taylor.

Lenore was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, confidant, and caregiver!  She was her family’s #1 fan, as she loved and cherished each and everyone of them. A great day for Lenore, was one spent with any one of her loved ones. She embodied selflessness every day of her life and thought of everyone before herself. When we think of Lenore we think of yard sales, The Price is Right, daily soaps, card games, her love of jewelry, picture taking, New England and Forest Hills sports teams, collectible cows and shoes (along with many many other collections).  Words can’t quite say everything about this Heroic Woman but we will remember her as brave, resilient, fierce, and strong.  She will be loved and cherished always!

Surviving her are her four children, Raymond Griffin Jr. of Jackman, Ryan Griffin of San Diego, CA, Reid Griffin of Westbrook and Robyn Hernandez and her husband, Agustin of Glenburn; four grandchildren, Jordan and Lucas Hernandez of Glenburn and Brady and Beckett Griffin of Westbrook; her sisters Elaine Brown and her husband Allen of Stetson, Sharron Treadwell and her husband John of Glenburn, Barbara Tibbets and her husband Doug of Bangor, Gail Ryan and her husband Barry of Glenburn and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years in January, Raymond Griffin, Sr., her parents, her brother Jimmy and sister Judy Taylor Murry.
