Peter Benson Honey, Jr, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 14, 2021.   He was born October 30,, 1970 in Bangor, Maine to Peter Honey and MaryAnne Healey.  He was a beloved grandchild, son, brother, and loving father.   Peter grew up in Amherst, Maine working locally on the family blueberry farm, enjoying sports, and spending time with friends.  He attended Airline Community School and Brewer High School Class of 1988.    Peter had a big heart and loved to sing, whistle, and draw. He was an avid reader, loved music, and was great company for family and friends.  

Peter was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Asa and Jacqueline Mace; paternal grandparents, Frank and Nina Honey; and aunt, Marlene Mace Hodgins.   He is survived by his father Peter Honey Sr.; his mother MaryAnne Healey and step-father Edward Healey; his daughter Emma Honey; son Samuel Honey; brother, Asa Honey Sr. and wife Erika and their children, Asa Jr. and Morgan Marie; brother, Edward Healey and his wife Amy and their children, Connor and Brandon; aunt Melody Knadler and husband Walter; uncle Fred Hodgins and his children, John and Todd; aunt, Linda Vinton and husband Sam and their daughter, Lisa Buzzo; and many cousins and their families. 

Peter will be greatly missed.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements trusted to Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, Bangor and Brewer.
