Obituary of Robert E Hamor
Seal Harbor—Robert (Rocky) E. Hamor, Jr., 60, passed away August 22, 2021, in Brewer. He was born August 28, 1960.
Rocky was a graduate of Mount Desert High School. Upon graduation, he entered the Navy as a Seabee and then became a Navy Seal. Throughout his life, he continued working as a finish carpenter. He most recently worked for Thomas Wallace. He enjoyed cooking, climbing, wildlife, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, reading and being outdoors. He will be remembered by those who knew him as a loyal, funny, fun loving man.
Rocky is survived by his girlfriend of 30+ years, Mary Dunn; brother, Ralph Hamor. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert E. Hamor, Sr. and Judith G. Tappan.
