Obituary of Jolene Elizabeth Lee

Jolene E. Lee, 44, wife of Robert E. Lee, passed away unexpectedly Sept. 21, 2021 in Bangor due to COVID-19. She was born March 27, 1977 in Santa Clara, California, the daughter of Raymond O. and Leilani A. (Boyes) Barrett.

Jolene's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She excelled at being both a wife and a mother, always thinking of them before herself. She was a strong independent woman with a heart so full of love. Jolene would have to take care of everything for months at a time being married to a Marine who deployed on a regular basis. Jolene was an outstanding cook, she loved making meals for her family and she was very good at it. Jolene’s ambitions in life were to be with her family, her family to feel loved, to be happy and she excelled at all of it. Jolene loved to go on adventures with her family, pick a spot on the map take the scenic route there. The love she had for her family will be felt until the end of time.  

Surviving in addition to her husband and her son, Brandon Lee both of Brewer are her mother, Leilani Barrett of Temple, Texas and her father, Raymond Barrett of Florida; one sister, Kimberly Barrett and her son, Tristan both of Temple, TX; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cheryl and Edward Lee of Washington; two brothers-in-law, Christopher Lee of Idaho and Franklin Lee of New York.

Family and friends may visit 4:00  to 5:30 PM Friday, Oct. 15, 2021 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer where a service honoring Jolene’s life will be held at 5:30 PM as the visitation concludes.
