Obituary of Karla Kristin Wilson
It is with great regret we announce the passing of Karla Wilson, who lost her ongoing battle with addiction.
Karla grew up in Hampden, Maine and attended Bangor Christian High School. She maintained a vibrant, fun loving, resilient personality throughout the many hardships she faced in her life. Karla’s beautiful smile and wonderful laugh brightened the days of everyone she met. She loved all animals, knitting, music, gymnastics, soccer and hockey. Recently, she has enjoyed her time working at a local landscaping company and corner store in Bangor. Karla helped anyone she could; giving to those in need even when it meant she might have nothing left for herself. She was loved and supported by so many and her love and light will be forever missed.
Karla is survived by her parents, Jo-Anna and Michael Wilson; siblings Hilarie Galloway, Jennifer Wilson and John Wilson; pet rats Pauly and Latecia; a large extended family and a close-knit group of friends who were like her second family.
