Obituary of Melvin Edwin Harper
Melvin Edward Harper,73, of Holden went home to the Lord December 16, 2021. He was born July 26,1948, the son of Flora Alice Ray and George Edwin Harper.
Melvin worked in the logging industry from age 12. His machine of choice was the skidder. He was also gifted at anything he put his hand to, whether carpentry or tractor restoration. After retirement, his love was fishing. His perfect day was spent on the lake, or on the ice with his best buddies Scott, Dick, and Gerry. Good friends, good food, laughter, and maybe even some fish. Thank you, guys, for the wonderful times he had with you. He really loved you all.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Georgia; sisters Avis Cousins and Leanne Dutch; nieces Ann, Candy, Katy; nephew Arnie; stepson Sean Veilleux, Heidi, Hailee, and the light of his life Adalyn.
