Obituary of Anne Evelyn Tidd

Anne Evelyn (Jonason) Tidd, 69, of Bangor passed away peacefully on December 26, 2021, in Bangor. Anne was born on June 20, 1952, and grew up in Bangor, a town she loved. She will be fondly remembered for being meticulously clean and tidy. Anne worked in the laundry room at the Phoenix Inn and later in housekeeping at Acadia Hospital and Phillips Strickland Home before retiring in 2003. Anne was a talented artist and enjoyed spending time with her friends and grandchildren. In retirement she provided loyal companionship to both her parents. Anne will be dearly missed.

Anne was predeceased by her mother Marilyn (Kelley) Jonason and her father Leonidas P. Jonason Sr.; uncle Peter Jonason and aunt Aileen Jonason; aunt Anna (Jonason) Willey; cousins Peter and Linda Willey; and cousin Michael Jonason. She is survived by her sister Karen (Jonason) Valesko and her husband Tom; brother Leonidas P. Jonason Jr. and his wife Susan; sister Kelley (Jonason) Noel and her husband Derek; son Andrew Jonason Tidd; daughter Amy Lee Tidd and her husband Lucas Lockhart; grandchildren Alivia Lockhart and Ari English; nieces Karilyn, Amanda, and Isabelle and their families; nephews Darius, Joe, and Adam and their families.
