Obituary of Betty Dianne Huntley
Orrington - Betty Dianne Huntley, 90, wife of the late Albert Huntley, died peacefully January 22, 2022 in Brewer. She was born Aug. 6, 1931 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, the daughter of Edgar F. and Clara M. (Gooch) Geel.
Betty was a longtime resident of Orrington and had been a member of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, Brewer since the 1980’s. She loved being outside in her flower garden, going to church or out in nature with a fishing pole.
Surviving are one granddaughter, Nicole Keaney and her husband, Patrick of Bellingham, Mass.; great grandchildren Brandy and Collin; Sister Mary Jackson and her husband Stanley; several nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her husband Albert and her daughters Carla and Candice Foley.
A graveside service honoring Betty’s life will be held in the spring at Jacksonville Cemetery, East Machias.
