Obituary of Janice Marie Carey
Old Town--On February 9, 2022, Janice passed away peacefully at her home in Pea Cove. She was the daughter of the late Thornton Costigan and Dorothy McCann and the granddaughter of the late William and Bertha McLaughlin.
Janice loved the outdoors, the many flavors of food and had a heart for dogs. She will be missed, but more importantly, remembered.
Janice is survived by four of her five children, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Janice’s companion of 14 years, Frank Allen, took good care of her on all fronts, and we thank him for that.
“Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen”.
