Obituary of Kathryn S. Eadie

Please share a memory of Kathryn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Brewer- It is with great sadness that the family of Kathy announces her passing on Friday, April 1, 2022, at her home surrounded by loved ones.  Born on October 19, 1953, the second child of Joseph and Delores Sheehan, she grew up in Bucksport, graduating from Bucksport High School in 1972. She then attended and graduated from EMMC School of Nursing in 1976. She worked as an RN in several capacities, including ICU, Gastroenterology, and Downeast Orthopedic Surgery.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Leslie B. Eadie III; her children; Tisha (Brad) Kuchta, Lee (Brooke) Eadie and Jennifer (Jason) Paquette, and her grandbabies (who knew her as Kayma) Xander, Portia, Ryker, Ella Kaylynn, Avery and Addie; her siblings Nancy Burgess, Delores Giles, Marie (Tim) Bernard, Cheryl (Kevin) Simpson, and Joseph (Brian) Sheehan; sisters and brothers -in-law; Carol Sheehan, Andy (Eileen) Eadie, and Doug (Claudia) Eadie; her many nieces and nephews; and her dear friends - including the "Purse Sisters" Judy Brown and Martha MacLeod.

Known as Kay to friends and family, everyone knew where the candy drawer was and that if they needed a listening ear, support and love, she was always there. Her kind and gentle heart helped many - her sense of humor will stay with us forever. We love you "morely."

To all who have visited, called and written, the family thanks you. A memorial gathering will be held 4 - 6  PM  Thursday, April 7, 2022 at the Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St, Brewer. In lieu of flowers (flowers of course without yellow), please donate to the Lafayette Cancer Center: The Lafayette Family Foundation, 155 Littlefield Avenue, Bangor, ME 04401. Messages and memories may be shared with her family on the tribute wall of  kileyandfoley.com.
