Kathryn Eadie

Obituary of Kathryn S. Eadie

Brewer- It is with great sadness that the family of Kathy announces her passing on Friday, April 1, 2022, at her home surrounded by loved ones.  Born on October 19, 1953, the second child of Joseph and Delores Sheehan, she grew up in Bucksport, graduating from Bucksport High School in 1972. She then attended and graduated from EMMC School of Nursing in 1976. She worked as an RN in several capacities, including ICU, Gastroenterology, and Downeast Orthopedic Surgery.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Leslie B. Eadie III; her children; Tisha (Brad) Kuchta, Lee (Brooke) Eadie and Jennifer (Jason) Paquette, and her grandbabies (who knew her as Kayma) Xander, Portia, Ryker, Ella Kaylynn, Avery and Addie; her siblings Nancy Burgess, Delores Giles, Marie (Tim) Bernard, Cheryl (Kevin) Simpson, and Joseph (Brian) Sheehan; sisters and brothers -in-law; Carol Sheehan, Andy (Eileen) Eadie, and Doug (Claudia) Eadie; her many nieces and nephews; and her dear friends - including the "Purse Sisters" Judy Brown and Martha MacLeod.

Known as Kay to friends and family, everyone knew where the candy drawer was and that if they needed a listening ear, support and love, she was always there. Her kind and gentle heart helped many - her sense of humor will stay with us forever. We love you "morely."
