Obituary of Leisha M. Gordon

Hermon – Our beloved Leisha has passed away April 4, 2022 after a short illness from cancer. Leisha was born Aug. 12, 1969 in Bangor, the daughter of Jane (Sargent) Tardiff and Ron McFarlin.

Leisha was a 1987 graduate of Hampden Academy and worked professionally in housekeeping over the years and had recently began schooling to enter the medical field after her cancer diagnosis. Leisha enjoyed concerts, shopping, cookouts and overall, having a good time. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her laugh. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.

Surviving is her mother, Jane Tardiff; her daughter whom stayed with her until her passing, Lacey Gabrieli and her wife, Alex; her son, Joseph Gordon and his wife, Lindsay; two grandsons, Luka and Levi; a brother, Jonathan Tardiff; her former husband, Richard Gordon, with whom she remained very close; aunts, Janet, Janice, Linda, Debbie and Carolyn and many uncles; many cousins including Melissa, Norman, Troy and Dale. She was predeceased by her beloved grandmother whom she loved very much; her stepfather, Fred; her father, Ronald and her beloved dog, Daisy.

Leisha’s family gratefully thanks the Elks Club, Bangor and all who helped make the benefit fundraiser successful including Janet Wright, Janice and Ray Paige, Deb and Dougie and Melissa. Her family also gratefully thanks the staff of Northern Light EMMC for the wonderful care provided to Leisha and to her hairdresser, Emily, for more than 30 years.

A graveside service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
