Obituary of Linda F. Umel
ORRINGTON - Linda F. Umel passed away peacefully on May 26, 2022, surrounded by her loving sons. She is survived by her loving husband, George of 56 years; her brother, Ricky; and three sisters, Debbie, Carol, and Gail. Linda was very proud of her three sons, Michael and his wife, Mary, Christino and his wife, Debbie, and Benjamin and his wife, Heather. The very center of her world were her grandchildren, Jason, Danielle, Liberty, Hunter, Braiden, Riley, Prestin, Mandie, and Noah; and two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Rowan.
Linda graduated from Bangor High School, class of 1966. She was employed by Verso Paper in Bucksport for more than 30 years. She was known for her love of Harleys, knitting, and everything Elvis. You could always see her in the stands or audience cheering on her grandchildren in their endeavors. She had an infectious laugh and was always the life of the party. She will be loved and missed by many.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held 5 to 7 PM Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer,
