I worked with Greg many years ago on video productions at what was Instructional Systems Center (ISC), later to become Instructional Technology (IT). One memorable trip to Kidney Pond, I did audio while he did the video of a large moose cow. She came within 3 feet of me, I could hardly be breath with excitement, while Greg stayed as calm as a sitting in his office. I remember him as being willing to take any side of a question in order to have a debate. Greg also worked with my husband, Conrad Griffin, from Cooperative Extension (CE), on a several video projects ranging from the history of CE, to interventions for anger or substance problems, to the use of water safety and floation devices. Always creative and inventive, Greg's productions took time to arrive at the perfection he and his University of Maine client's demanded. He contributed greatly to the success of other UM programs. It was enjoyable and fulfilling to work with him. It was lovely to know that he and Barb became master gardeners after they retired. How perfect that they continued to create beauty and wonder.
I hope your memories of Greg and Barb burn brightly through the years. You can rest proudly in the lives they lived and the service they gave to others.
