Ellen Christine “Tina” Campbell, wife of the late Robert L. Campbell passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on October 6, 2022. She was born in Bangor, Maine on December 28, 1923 to Frank E. and Frances I. (Nolan) Foley, the eleventh child of thirteen.

Tina was educated at St. John Catholic School and graduated from John Bapst High School, Class of 1943. She worked for Hugh and Alyce Connor as a nanny for their three boys for a number of years. While an active member of the local Democratic Party, Tina met Bob and they were married on April 29, 1957. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society. Tina enjoyed working at the Polls for over 50 years for the City of Brewer. For 15 years, she volunteered her time weekly at The Attic and at the Bangor Nursing Home. She will be remembered as a very giving woman; everyone stopped by to see Tina in hopes of finding a fresh batch of cookies. She did enjoy baking and bowling, but loved to play Bingo.

Tina is survived by four children, Teresa (Mark) Maybury, Ellen (Joseph) Lawlor, Robert (Belinda) Campbell, all of Brewer and Mary (Rick) Manwaring of Rocky Hill CT. She truly loved all of her grandchildren and the time she spent with each of them; Paul D. Bolstridge, Matthew L. Bolstridge, Jamie (Kevin) Ashton, Joseph D. (Althea) Lawlor III, Robbie Campbell, Sarah Campbell, Michael Maybury, Michele Maybury, Julia Manwaring, and Bethany Manwaring. Tina was able to enjoy six great grandchildren, Alyssa, Matthew, Faith, Reese, Gavin, and Dennis Robert. She leaves behind in-laws, Corinne Gordon and Eleanor England, many nieces and nephews, along with a special family friend, Richie Connor and his extended family. Tina was predeceased by her parents, husband and twelve siblings, Roselle, William, Isabelle, George, Carolyn, her twin sister Mary Ruth, Dorothy, Frank and four other brothers before she was born. Special thank you to Cindy & Deb for their loving friendship and Kindred Hospice for their wonderful care.
