Joseph Parker Bryant, 74, was born to Ireson P. and Doris M. (Kenny) Bryant in 1948 and was called home, October 7, 2022 at his home in Bangor. Joe was a 1966 Old Town graduate and a business major of Husson. Joe volunteered during the Vietnam conflict with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. It was during this time, he met his loving wife and best friend Linda J. Ventimiglia. She wrote ‘on the blind’ in support to our boys away from home. After only a few months, Joe took his first ‘R & R’ to New Jersey with great anticipation of meeting his ‘Pen Pal’. They celebrated 50 years of marriage and true partnership in 2021.
Joe is survived by his love, Linda; sister, Raynette Boyington and husband, Stephen along with nieces, nephews and cousins including dear in-laws, Patty Casanova, Joe and Carol Ventimiglia, Debbie Ventimiglia. He was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Sharon Walker and her husband, William; Linda’s parents, Joe and Jean Ventimiglia who in his own words, “left a lasting impression on me”. Very grateful for his friends, Bob and George.
